Bengaluru: The state government is evaluating the 34 Public Sector Undertakings which are under loss.
Responding to a question by BJP MLC K S Naveen and JD(S) MLC TA Sharavana, the Forest and Ecology Minister Eshwar Khandre informed the Legislative Council on Tuesday that the decision on 34 PSUs will be taken by July 2025.
As per the details provided by the government, out of the 125 PSU in Karnataka, 34 are in the red and 16 of them have been closed.
“Finance department will evaluate and take a call on investing in them,” Khandre said.
