On Thursday, the trio looked visibly tired and did not even press hard for their demand that a debate be held before the motion of confidence moved by Chief Minister Yeddyurappa was put to vote on the floor of the House.

Siddaramaiah, who had even climbed on the table to register his protest during the trust vote on Monday, went on the defensive on Thursday. He had even manhandled a watch and ward staff.

Siddaramaiah said the proceedings on Monday too would have been smooth if not for the entry of uniformed police inside the precincts of Vidhana Soudha.
