Mysuru: "Determination, consistent hard work helped us achieve this success," shared four first-ranked students from the Mysuru region.
Out of 22 students who have secured first rank in the State by scoring full marks (625/625), two students from Mysuru district, one student each from Hassan and Mandya districts, have scored first rank, they shared.
S Dhanush student of Marimallappa's High School, Mysuru, owed the credits to the support of his parents, K Savitha, a homemaker and M Shivakumar, an Engineer, H M of the school, S Mamatha and teachers at his school. Dhanush shared, "I was determined to score full marks. Consistent hard work with a proper timetable helped me achieve this. I want to take up PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology) for PUC and want to become a doctor," he said. Expressing happiness, H M Mamatha shared that with the collective efforts and hard work of Dhanush along with the support and guidance of the entire staff of the school, management and secretary of the school, they have been able to achieve this success, she said.
R N Thanya, student of BVB (Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan) school, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, shared the credits with her parents, H M Maheshwari, homemaker and R H Narayanswamy, loan supervisor in a bank, and her H M Lekha Nair and teachers at school for their support. "With a clear goal, determination and hard work, I could achieve this result. I used to study for six to seven hours per day until I was satisfied," she said. She has also participated in several quiz contests and bagged several prizes. She wants to take up PCMB and wants to become a doctor.
J Dhruthi, student of Sahukar S K Chikkannagowda school in K R Pete taluk of Mandya district, thanked her parents, J Rashmi, high school teacher at Karnataka public school and Jnanesha, high school teacher at Junior College in K R Pet and H M, S M Kumar and staff for the support. She said, "Teachers provided all the resources we needed to score full marks. They held special classes during the morning from 6 am to 7.30 am and from 6 pm to 8 pm at school after the mid-term exam. Studying regularly, covering all the syllabus taught on the same day, without keeping any backlog, helped me score well. My sister J Mokshalakshmi scored 624 in SSLC and 590 in second PUC, and was also an inspiration. I want to take up PCMC for PUC. I want to become an Engineer, an IITian," she said.
Utsav Patel, student of Vijaya school, Chikkahonnenahalli, Hassan taluk, Hassan district, expressed his gratitude to U A Asharani, a home homemaker and D T Prakash, a businessman man and H M K S Nandeesha for the support. “Besides studying at home, I attended a coaching class from 4 pm to 6 pm at the school. I solved old question papers. One should not think about results, but just put 100% effort and study well to achieve success," he said.
