"Did the CMs of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra resign, when stampedes occurred in their states?” asked MLC Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to media, in Mysuru, on Wednesday, Dr Yathindra, son of CM Siddaramaiah, asked, “Did the BJP go and lay a siege to the houses of the chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra earlier? On what basis are the Karnataka BJP leaders protesting?”

Dr Yathindra also said, “There is no danger to the CM’s post. Siddaramaiah will remain CM for the full five-year term. The Congress high command has not given any deadline to Siddaramaiah.

“The CM and DCM have not done anything wrong. Permission was not even obtained for the programme at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Isn't it wrong to hold a programme without getting permission? Aren't the security lapses that occurred there wrong? How can the CM and the DCM be held responsible for this?” Dr Yathindra asked.
