Power supply would be disrupted in a few areas in the city from 10 am to 5 pm on October 7 (Wednesday) due to maintenance works being undertaken on the 66/11 kv Dattagalli and Vijayanagar distribution centres in view of the Dasara festivities.
According to a press release issued by the Executive Engineer of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation, VV Mohalla division, the areas expected to be affected under Dattagalli centre are: Dattagalli Third Stage, Kanakadasa Nagar, Somanatha Nagar, Kergalli I Block, Vasu Layout, R K Nagar I Block, Dattagalli, Lingambudhipalya, R T Nagar K Block and surrounding areas.
The areas expected to be affected from 9 am to 6 pm under Vijayanagar centre are: Gokulam First and Second Stages, Madeshwara Extension, Vijayanagar First and Second Stages, Hinkal, Yadavagiri, Manjunathapura, Mahajana Layout, Vontikoppal, Gokulam Third Stage, Jayalakshmipuram, Paduvarahalli, CFTRI, DC’s House, Nurse Quarters, Akashvani, ESI Hospital, Hasukaru Park, Gokulam Park, Vinayakanagar, Kalidasa Road, Yadavagiri Industrial Area and surrounding areas.
