However, there appeared to be no camaraderie among the ministers.
The Reddy brothers preferred to stay in Mysore and not at the venue of the baithak in Suttur. They left immediately after the session every evening only to return the next morning. Presumably, they gave a slip to yoga session too.
Groupism remained intact with ministers from different regions formed their own groups and stayed within their comfort zones.
Attempts were made to break the group barriers even during morning walks by prodding the ministers to speak to ministers from other groups to no avail.
Though there were clear instructions that the ministers were supposed to be away from mobile phones, they were seen chatting continuously even at a spritiual ceremony such as Ganga Pooja.
Speaking to reporters after the conclusion of the baithak, State BJP President Sadananda Gowda has said the party does not mind holding Chintan Baithaks in places of religious importance for other communities such as Muslims or Christians, so long as there is serenity and privacy required to hold such meetings.
Gowda said Gujarat CM Narendra Modi who participated in the baithak has given some ‘sound advice’ which will be implemented by ministers soon.
Referring to Vision 2020 - the progress that needs to be achieved by the party by the year 2020 -- “We have come up with ‘Vision 2020’ for Karnataka and will ensure we reach the goals we have set for ourselves,” he added.

According to sources, BJP and RSS leaders have given three months’ notice to ministers to deliver better. Failing this, the leaders have said, there could be major changes in the portfolios they have been holding.
