Davangere: State BJP president B Y Vijayendra on Wednesday said that Karnataka does not need an outgoing chief minister or in-charge minister and the ongoing fight for the state’s chief minister’s chair in the Congress should stop before the winter session in Belagavi.

He told reporters on the sidelines of a protest staged demanding procurement centres for farm produce: “I am not telling that Siddaramaiah is the outgoing chief minister and some Congress leaders are telling it.”

“The farmers are pinning their hopes on the winter session. If the fight for power continues, injustice will be done to them. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge is helpless. It is ironic that Rahul Gandhi, sitting abroad, is deciding who will be the CM,”he said.
