DPUE publishes details of PU colleges

 The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) has made public the information on facilities in government, aided, and unaided PU colleges across the State to help I PU students make better choices when they apply for admission.

The initiative is part of the DPUE’s efforts to make pre-university admissions transparent. It would help I PU students know all they need to about a college before applying for admission once results of the SSLC examination are announced later this month. To begin with, the DPUE has put out, on its website,pue.kar.nic.in such information as the fee structure in government, aided, and unaided colleges.

Besides, details on subject combinations available at 1,202 government, 668 aided and 2,076 unaided colleges. Also in the public domain is result of each college in the II PU examination from 2009 to 2011. One would know number of students (only freshers) appeared for the II PU examination from each college and the overall pass percentage.
