Bengaluru: After a long gap, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar reviewed the 74-km Bengaluru Business Corridor, also known as Peripheral Ring Road project, in the presence of officials on Monday.
While the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) had taken up backend work, there was confusion over the compensation to be given to the land losers.
Shivakumar's office did not immediately disclose the decision taken at the meeting.
According to officials, the project requires acquisition of about 2,560 acres, which requires about Rs 20,511 crore. The civil work is estimated to cost another Rs 6,500 crore.
