Zabina had been to Bangalore on official duty and was returning to town when the mishap occurred. Assistant Tahsildar Gopikrishna has suffered injuries in his eyes while another officer Venkatareddy has been severely injured.
Tension prevailed for a while on Malur-Bangalore stretch where the mishap occurred. Traffic movement was blocked for sometime. However, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
