Muttinakoppa (Narasimharapura): Elephants chased two school children near Doddanatale in Kusuburu village of Muttinakoppe Gram Panchayat on Wednesday evening.
Two children of a private school in Muttinakoppa were chased by elephants on Wednesday evening as they were walking home after getting off the auto.
A villager named Samayat, who was passing by, took the children to safety.
Later, a complaint was filed with the forest department, forcing the department staff and the Elephant Task Force to conduct an operation to chase the elephants away.
