The people were spending sleepless nights because of the elephant menace. The farmers are worried about the frequent visits of pachyderms to the villages despite the solar fencing to check the jumbos from entering the villages.
The aggrieved farmers have warned of launching agitation if this problem was not attended by the Department of forests.
