An engineering student from a Bangalore college who had been to Dubare along with his friends accidentally drowned on Saturday. More details of the student is yet to ascertained.
It is said that the student along with his friends stayed at a lodging in Kushalngar on Friday. A swim in the river Cauvery on Saturday proved fatal for him. He is said to be a native of Mulki in Dakshina Kannada district.
