Mysuru: An escort vehicle of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar toppled near T M Hosuru gate of Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya district on Saturday afternoon, leaving four people who were in it injured.
The vehicle which was coming behind D K Shivakumar's car when he was returning to Bengaluru after attending Saadhana Samavesha in Mysuru on Saturday toppled after the driver reportedly lost control.
Mahesh, Dinesh, Jayalingu and Karthik have been identified as the persons in the car who were injured.
They were given first aid at Srirangapatna taluk hospital and later rushed to K R Hospital in Mysuru for further treatment. The vehicle was partially damaged due to the impact of the accident.
Srirangpatna rural police have registered a case.
