He wanted Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to intervene and solve the issue.
Talking to media persons after his visit to the dharna spot, he said “It’s more than one year since they became unemployed. Their families have been thrown to streets.

Many of them have tried to commit suicide. But the Government was yet to initiate action,” he added.

He warned of intensifying agitation if the government failed to take suitable action within 15 days. Congress leader H K Mahesh and others were present.

Recovery

Meanwhile, three staff members who tried to commit suicide by consuming sleeping pills, are recovering at the government hospital, according to doctors.
