JD(S) leader and former legislator Abdul Azeem on Friday urged the Chief Electoral Officer Karnataka to extend its ongoing special summary revision of electoral rolls in BBMP limits by 15 days.
Addressing a press conference in Bangalore, Azeem said several discrepancies had been detected in the present draft electoral rolls and more time was required to rectify them.
A special summary revision of electoral rolls in 28 Assembly constituencies in Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits was taken up on December 10 and will conclude on December 31.
