A bizarre incident took place in Karnataka's Sakleshpur where dead chickens emitted fire from their mouths when their bodies were pressed.
Several videos about the incident have been doing the rounds on social media, which show lifeless chickens lying on the ground, emitting flames up on pressing their bodies. According to various reports, the chickens belonged to a resident named Ravi.
Onlookers say that when the abdomens of the chickens were pressed, flames were visibly emitted from their mouths, leaving them all dumbstruck.
The video, which has garnered about 483.2K views since posted, was shared with a caption, "Chicken are mysteriously dying, and their dead bodies are emitting fire (in Sakleshpur Indian village) Debate below - Real or CGI?"
According to reports, Ravi has urged authorities to probe into the incident to find the cause of the death of the chickens and also the source of the fire.
Several users shared their bemusement over the incident.
An X user replied to the video saying, "Could it be that they've ingested some harmful chemicals?"
Another wrote, "Definitely not CGI, but it's definitely telling that they're not moving the camera over to the left side. My guess is that they're using a blowtorch or something so that fire is coming out of the mouth."
"They are pressing a lighter to spark ignition. It's inside the breast of the chicken. Someone Above pointed out there is prob a hose from a gas container adding fuel to the inside. Twisted really," another said.
One user said, "New meaning for what KFC really stands for."
"I believe in chicken dragons!" a reply to the video read.
Another reply to the video read, "Thats AI you can tell from the background... Look at the trees."
