In a complaint, Abdul Rasheed has alleged that during the foot march organised by VHP from Kadri Temple to Koragajja Kshethra on March 9, Sulibele had delivered provocative statements.

In his complaint, Rasheed quoted Sulibele as saying, “How long will you say you did not find a girl? Why not consider looking elsewhere? When we think about our boys not finding girls in our society, aren't there issues in other communities too?”

Rasheed accused him of trying to provoke people, trying to create animosity among different groups and demanded action against him.

A case has been registered under Sections 353 (2) and 192 of BNS.

Congress leaders, led by Ullal Unit President Mustafa Abdulla had also submitted a complaint against Sulibele with the police on Sunday, demanding action against Chakravarti Sulibele for his alleged communally inflammatory remarks.
