A fire was reported at Kundukere Forest range, under Bandipur Tiger Reserve in the taluk on Saturday.

According to officials, the fire was man-made and vegetation on nearly 30 acres of forest was damaged. The incident occurred at Alegowdanakatte, said an officer. The Forest department personnel are trying to douse the fire.
