Speaking to Deccan herald, Crematorium Supervision Committee Member Dattathreya Bhat informed that every year the forest department provides firewood in about two tractors but this time they have not provided firewood.
MLA M P Kumaraswamy has been informed about the problem and he has promised to instruct the forest officials to do the needful but so far, the firewoods have not yet reached. However, he says that at this situation, they may have to bank on private timber mills to carry on the crematoria service.
