As many as 200 boats left on Sunday night for a combined search operation to trace the seven missing fishermen.

The operation is in addition to the 150 boats that left on Saturday late night.

Speaking to DH, Malpe Fishermen’s Association President Sathish Kunder said that the 150 boats will reach the spot from where Suvarna Tribhuja had remained incommunicado on January 14 and will carry out intense search operation.

The missing fishermen families are living in fear, Kunder said.

The police are carrying out their investigation from Kerala to Rathnagiri in Maharashtra. Two more police teams have left for Maharashtra and Kerala as a part of search operation.
