District Football Association will organise a district-level league football tournament in Ammatti from April 10 to 25 said, Mohan Ayyappa, the president of Kodagu District Football Association.
He said that this year, the tournament will be held in association with Milan’s Football Club, Ammatti. A total of 16 teams will fight for the trophy. Every team will play three matches.
The valedictory of the final match will be attended by Karnataka State Football Association president N A Harris, secretary Satyanarayana and Indian Football Team former player I M Vijayan.
He also said that a new goal box will be installed at Ammatti football ground by the State Football Association, at a cost of Rs 25,000.
