A team of forensic officials visited Robertsonpet on Friday, to investigate a house collapse which killed two persons.
The house, belonging to contractor Narayanamurthy, collapsed early Wednesday morning. Primary investigation suggested gas leakage was the cause for the incident.
Considering a similar incident at BEML Nagar recently, the police have decided to conduct a thorough investigation into these two accidents.
On Thursday, Special Tahsildar Jayamadhav, Bescom Assistant Executive Engineer Lakshminarayana and PWD Assistant Engineer Hanumappa visited the spot and estimated the loss at Rs 25 lakh.
Narayanmurthy, who lost his relatives in the accident, said his family members are staying at his friends’ place, and are not allowed to enter the house till the forensic experts conduct the study.
