On June 9, at around 8 pm, former MLA Bava along with two associates had allegedly entered the office of the Deputy Chairperson of the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) regarding the approval of a project bill.

Later, even after the official stepped out of the office, the former MLA and his companions allegedly followed, threatened, and shouted at her. Subsequently, while the official was traveling in a car on other official duty, the car was allegedly stopped and engaged in an heated argument.

In this regard, the Secretary of NMPA, Panambur, lodged a complaint.

Accordingly, a case has been registered at the Panambur Police Station under Sections 224, 221, 132, 126, 127, and 226 of the BNS . The investigation is in progress.
