Four members of a family were killed when the four-wheeler by which they were travelling was hit by a lorry near Bogalerahatti of the taluk on National Highway-13, on Saturday evening.
Basaveshwar (45), his wife Shobha (38) and sons Raju (14) and Tejas (14) are the dead. Raju and Tejas were twins.
The four had been to Kotturu and were returning to the City, when the accident occurred.
While three persons died on the spot, Tejas breathed his last on the way to the hospital.
