Madikeri: Four youths from Gonikoppa
died in a head-on collision between a car and a lorry near Devarakolli in the district on Friday.
The police have identified the deceased as Nihad (25), Rishaan (24), Rashib (25) and Aneesh (25). The accident occurred when they were going to Ullal from Gonikoppal.
A speeding lorry rammed into their car near Devarakolli on Kodagu-Dakshina Kannada border, killing two pesons on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries en route to hospital, the police said.
