Four of a family found murdered in Karnataka's Kodagu

The husband has gone missing.

Madikeri: Four members of a family were found murdered in a lone house at Begur in Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu district on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Gowri, Kaala, Nagi, and Kaveri.

Nagi, the daughter of Gowri and Kaala, was living with her husband Girish. The two have a daughter -- Kaveri. Girish has gone missing.

The police are gathering information about the family.

The murder came to light when fellow workers came near the house after noticing their absence from daily wage work, at noon.

Superintendent of Police K Ramarajan and other senior officials have rushed to the spot and the investigation is in progress.
