Chikkamagaluru: Four people have been externed from the district for involvement in illegal activities and disturbing peace of public.
The four people have been identified as - Faijulla Sharif (49), a resident of Indira Nagar, K V Pradeep (38) and Manoranjan (33) from Megaramakki in Narasimharajapura taluk and Mountbatten Arokyaswamy (31) from M C Halli in Tarikere taluk.
A notice has been issued by the police department as per the DC's orders.
In a press release, the District Superintendent of Police stated that people who carry out illegal acts, moral policing, rumour mongering and other acts of creating unrest will be externed from the district.
