Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate 2,000 additional buses in view of Ugadi and Eid-ul-Fitr.
These special buses will run from Bengaluru's Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) to the following cities in Karnataka and other states from March 28 to 30: Dharmastala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and other places.
Special buses from the Mysuru Road Satellite Bus Station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, and Madikeri.
All premier special buses will be operated from the Shanthinagar Bus Station to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirapalli, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kozhikode and other places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Later, special buses will be operated from various cities in Karnataka and other states to Bengaluru on Monday.
