“The people of this State have every right to know about the exact power situation in the State,” he added.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Shivakumar, who was here to participate in the district-level Congress workers’ meet, charged that the State was literally facing a power crisis, but confusing statements were being issued by the people in power. “Let them stop issuing confusing and contradictory statements, and come out with a clear picture regarding the exact power situation in the State,” he said.
Shivakumar pointed out that while Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was issuing a statement on the power situation, Energy Minister K S Eshwarappa was issuing quite a contradictory statement.
