Incidentally, this college was the first and the only Government College in the whole State to be accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC during 2003. It is mandatory that after five years, the College had to be re-accredited by NAAC. The Peer Team which visited the College during April 2009, had submitted its report to the NAAC and as the result of which, NAAC has re-accredited the College with ‘A’ Grade.
