Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the government will take steps for setting up a Vishwakarma study centre.
Speaking after inaugurating a programme to mark Vishwakarma Jayanti here on Sunday, the chief minister said that land would be provided for setting up schools and hostels for children of Vishwakarma community.
He said that the Congress had been providing equal opportunities for all communities. “For me, power is a tool to ensure social justice,” the chief minister said.
