According to official sources, the plan is to create a land bank with a minimum of 20,000 acres across the State to woo investors. The land will be acquired mainly along national highways, sources said.
The government has already set up a land bank with about one lakh acres land to provide land to investors in manufacturing and IT sectors. But the government move has come under attack with farmers protesting acquisition of fertile land.
The government will also begin conducting road shows in major cities in the country to woo investors to the meet from September.
