The circular reiterated that no new notifications for direct recruitment must be issued until a decision is taken on internal reservation for Scheduled Castes.

“It has come to the notice of the government that some recruitment authorities have violated this directive by issuing new notifications,” the DPAR said, adding that any such notification stands cancelled, and action would be initiated against erring officials.
