Raichur: The Guru Vaibhavotsava 2025 of Sri Raghavendra Swami of Mantralaya commenced with great devotion and splendour at Mantralaya on Saturday.
The Guru Vaibhavotsava will be celebrated on a grand scale for six days from March 1 to March 6.
This festival is being held under the leadership of the head of the mutt, Sri Subudhendra Teertha.
Andhra Pradesh Minister of Education and IT Nara Lokesh visited Mantralaya and had darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swami (Sri Rayaru).
He was warmly welcomed by the mutt officials. They guided the minister to the darshan of Sri Rayaru and Sri Vadeendra Teertharu.
As part of the celebrations, H H Sri Swamiji performed the Pattabhisheka Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swami Moola Padukegalu, followed by the grand Sri Rayara Rathotsava. Nara Lokesh actively participated in all the religious activities, receiving Phalamantrakshate, Sheshavastram, and a memento as prasada and blessings from H H Sri Swamiji.
Later, H H Sri Swamiji and Nara Lokesh jointly inaugurated the extended corridor of Madhwamarga in Mantralaya, marking a significant milestone for devotees and visitors.
Cultural programmes will be held by various art groups for six days at the Yogendra Mantap outside the Srimatthi. During this time, achievers in various fields will be honoured and awarded the Guru Raya Anugraha Award.
