He was speaking at the Gurukula deeksha programme held at Amber Valley Residential School in Chikmagalur. He interacted with the students after inaugurating the painting and craft exhibition.
Capt Gopinath of Deccan Airways called upon the students to dream of a developing country and urged the students not to restrict themselves to the textbooks alone. On the occasion, Varnitha was given S V Gangaiah Hegde award for securing highest marks in tenth standard.
School Managing Trustees Poornima Jairaj welcomed the gathering while Principal D Ravikumar read out the annual report.
