A windmill used to generate electricity, was shattered by high velocity winds at the Kurumadike Kere hill windmill power park, owned by Pavan Energy Company, on Tuesday.
Gusty monsoon winds smashed the windmill's blades to smithereens. This picture has gone viral on social media. The windmill's broken blade was blown far from the site of the damage. As the vicinity was isolated, none was hurt.
