The number of persons who died due to H1N1 has increased to 31 with Hassan and Tumakuru reporting four deaths each.
According to the latest information available with the Health department, out of the 8,499 swab samples collected, 1,347 have tested positive for the flu.
Bengaluru city tops the list with 274 cases followed by Bengaluru Urban – 125, Shivamogga – 108 and Udupi – 105.
The health department has been carrying out awareness drive against the flu.
