Justice SR Krishna Kumar granted the petitioners, Liya Wilson and Binsa Maria Shibu, the liberty to submit an appropriate representation to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and the Higher Education Department within one week.

The court also directed the authorities to consider the representation by March 17.

The petitioners had sought a modification of the examination dates to avoid conflicts with religious festival days and crucial academic commitments.
