Hearing a petition by Mary Sushila and Mohammed Yunus challenging the delay in implementing and notifying the RTE rules in the State, the division bench comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice A S Bopanna directed to club all the matters pertaining to fee structure and implementation of RTE to be heard in April.
The petitioners in their submission had sought directions to implement RTE rules stating that despite being drafted in June 2010 with a specific directions by Union Ministry for Human Resource development (HRD) to implement the rules in 2011, the State Government is showing a callous attitude.
