A HC Bench acted upon a PIL filed against the upcoming bandh on Feb 4.
The Karnataka High Court on Monday slapped an emergent notice on Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha, a pro Kannada outfit, while hearing a matter pertaining to a bandh on February 4.
A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice HG Ramesh and Justice P S Dinesh Kumar were hearing a public interest litigation filed by Shraddha Parents' Association seeking directions to restrain the upcoming bandh in the city on February 4.
The court also issued notice to the state government in this regard and adjourned hearing of the matter to February 2.
