The Karnataka High Court on Friday set aside the order of Magistrate court which has accepted the charge sheet filed by prosecution with regard to the deaths of Maastigudi film actors Anil and Uday.

The prosecution had charged the unit members of the film under Section 304 of the IPC, which deals with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Justice Aravind Kumar, while hearing the petition directed the District and Sessions Court, Ramanagaram, to consider this as a fresh case.

The unit members have been accused of causing the death of actors who drowned in the Thippagondanahalli reservoir during the shooting of the movie in November 2016.
