The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday stayed further proceedings, including the warrant, issued against Air Deccan Founder Captain G R Gopinath and four others in the Kingfisher Airlines case, in relation to a complaint filed by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO).
Hearing the petition filed by Gopinath and four others, challenging the case registered against them by the SFIO, Justice K N Phaneendra stayed further proceedings initiated against them before the special court constituted under the Companies Act in the city. The court also issued notice to the SFIO.
