The project is being taken up with a budget of Rs 66 lakh, the MLA informed. He also paid a surprise visit to a vocational hostel of the Social Welfare Department. The inmates of the hostel rued that though there are 140 members in the hostel, there are only four toilets. They also complained regarding improper water supply.
Ravi instructed the Social Welfare Officer Harshakumar to provide both the facilities within a week. DHO Eshwarappa, Dr Kalpana and Suresh were present.
