Association secretary Mallannagowda Goudar said that despite the high school teachers having the same qualifications, the government had fixed the pay scale for technical teachers from Rs 10,800 to 20,025 and from 8,825 to 16,000 for government school teachers.
Goudar said that there were over 600 technical teachers and over 70,000 regular teachers in government institutions.
