Kolar: Vice Chancellor of the Kolar-based Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, G H Nagaraj, will award an honorary doctorate to CM Siddaramaiah in recognition of his contributions in public service.
The VC announced this during the 15th annual convocation of the institute at its campus on Thursday.
“The executive body and the academic board of the institute has resolved to present an honorary doctorate to CM Siddaramaiah. The two-time CM has presented 16 budgets. He has scripted a new history by implementing guarantee schemes for all communities. No other government has achieved this,” the VC said.
