Due to formation of depression over north-west of Bay of Bengal leading to rains in coastal Karnataka and Malnad region.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in parts of Mangaluru and Kodagu on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
In a communication to deputy commissioners of Mangaluru and Kodagu districts, the department officials said that some places might receive heavy rains. The monsoon is active once again due to formation of depression over north-west of Bay of Bengal leading to rains in coastal Karnataka and Malnad region.
