Usha Rani, assistant professor, MHA Programme, Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE, Manipal, has received prestigious ‘The 2018 Yufong International Health Literacy Award’ for her contribution towards health literacy.

The award consists of 500 US dollar and a certificate. She received the award from Professor Dr Peter WS Chang, secretary general, AHLA, Geneva, Switzerland, at the sixth annual conference of Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) International Health Literacy Conference held at Taichung, Taiwan.

The award is given to researchers with the best researches and practices outcome in the area of health literacy.
