As many as 20 members of Gangavathi City Municipal Council and two members of Kushtagi town municipal council also joined the Congress along with Ansari.
The KPCC women’s wing will hold a workshop for the party’s women members in eight municipal corporations of the State on Wednesday. Women’s wing president Manjula Naidu said there were about 60 women Congress corporators in the State. They would be felicitated during the programme.
