With the growing number of people wanting to travel to Israel going up, the procedure to procure a Israeli visa has been made simple with the setting up of the new visa service in Bangalore.

The office to provide the Israeli visa service began functioning on Tuesday.

The Consulate General of Israel announced that they have started issuing visas for Business/Tourism (B2) and Student (A2) categories from July 1. The new centre is located at No 604, ‘A’ Wing, 6th Floor, Mittal Tower on MG Road. The visa application centre was inaugurated by Ziv Shalvi, Deputy Chief of Mission, Israel consulate.

Menahem Kanafi, the Israeli Consul General in Bangalore, said, “We are fully committed to strengthening the relationship between Israel and India, thus removing bureaucratic barriers between the two countries. We are partnering with IVS Processing Services Pvt Ltd.”  

“There is no need to contact the Israeli consulate in New Delhi or Mumbai to get visa any more. This service will not only save the precious time of businessmen and tourists, but also processing time. As of now, the official maximum processing time is within three to four working days,” he added.
